10K…often ignored but still a classic distance
Historic Madison - Downtown Madison, MS
7:30 AM - The starting line will stay open for 10 minutes after the initial start. Your official time will not start until you cross the starting line and will be based on your chip-time.
The 10K course mimics several miles of the half-marathon course before finding its own way back to the finish line. This course takes runners and walkers through some of Madison’s oldest neighborhoods.

6:00 AM at the start area; exact location TBD. ***Local participants that are able to are highly encouraged to pick up their packets at the race expo.***

We love pets but cannot allow them on the course due to safety concerns.
Participants must wear their bib numbers on the front of their tops or bottoms.
Those registered as walkers MUST walk and not run. Participants who are signed up as walkers and discovered to be running will be disqualified from receiving awards.

Post-race events will feature live music, drinks, and food from various local vendors.
